Front Page Columbus Dispatch Article About H.B. 216
Monday, October 26, 2015
Today The Columbus Dispatch featured a great front-page article about House Bill 216! The article included quotes from Christine Williams, Cathy Hoffman and Lori Chovanak (ONA) all who discussed the benefits of H.B. 216 for Ohio patients. The article also addressed OSMA’s concerns, but overall, the reporter did a great job of educating readers about APRNs and their important role in health care. LINK to article.
It is very likely that members of the opposition will write Letters to the Editor to express their discontent with H.B. 216 and why “it’s not safe for Ohio.” To counter these letters, we are hoping to flood The Dispatch with letters in support of H.B. 216 and we need your help. Click HERE for a sample letter. We encourage you to take some of the messaging from the template and create your own letter. For example, you can share your own experiences or address OSMA’s concerns in a constructive manner. If you have any questions, please contact Cathy Hoffman at firstname.lastname@example.org
